Legal Question in Business Law in Kentucky

Breach of Contract

I have a contract to own one third of a commercial property. The other two partners have stopped paying my portion of the income claiming that I have breached an article of the contract and therefore, they do not have to abide by the section that calls for equal distribution of income. I contest that I have breached. If I was found to have breached, does that nullify the contract completely?

Re: Breach of Contract

There is no way to answer this question without seeing the contract and knowing what the alleged breach is. No, it is not automatic that a breach of contract allows the other side to no longer comply - it all depends on the facts of each situation.

You need to consult with an attorney.
