First thing you must do is document the threat and the source of the threat. Then, as soon as you can, take it to your local prosecutor. You might be entitled to a personal protection order, but that's just a piece of paper.

Do a reality test on the threat, and then take whatever (legal) steps you need to to protect yourself if the threat is real, including changing your internet address and other steps to avoid being found.
