Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

Possession of Meth
3 guys are in a car that guy #1 just purchased. The police pull them over for an expired tag and find Meth in the car seat and meth contraband on guy #2. Guy #1 test negative for Meth, Guy #2 test positive for Meth, Guy#3 has nothing on him and also test positive for meth. They all deny knowing anything about the meth. My question is what does the court do if they all keep denying that the meth belongs to them? These are all friends of my nephew and I was arguing that they all should be charged if no one admits to owning the meth especially in light of the fact two of the guys tested positive for meth.

They typically all do get charged and a jury decideds who the Meth belonged to.
