Mother wanting to move out of state

My boyfriend has a 13 year old son that no longer wants to live with his mother. They have joint custody and mom has physical possession of him. She talking about moving to Oaklohoma with a man she met on line. Is she legally able to just up and move him out of state if the father and son does not want to.

She can unless the father files a motion to stop her. A move out of state means a change in visitation so, the father should file a motion to prevent this or to modify custody and make him residential parent. This can be done pro se but I suggest you consult a lawyer.
