If you have permenant custody howhard is it for parents to get their kids back

Well, if I have permanent custody of your (or anyone's)children, I'll probably give them back quite easily. Joking aside, for the first two years after permanent custody is granted, you have to show a change in circumstances and that the children are seriously endangered in that environment. After 2 years, you have to show a change in circumstances and best interest.

The law leans in favor of leaving things as they are and against change. Of course, you and the person with permanent custody can reach an agreement and submit an agreed order without making these showings.
