I am a hospital employee scheduled 36 hours weekly. We are required to take "call" days. We get paid time and half for coming in "on call". So, for example, if I work three scheduled 12 hour days after my coming in on my "on call" day, should I get paid time and half once I am past my 40 hours worked? (Does the coming in on the "on call" day, count toward my 40 hours?) I would have worked a total of 48 hours for the week. I live in Kentucky. Thank you.
