Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky

rental property and evictions

2 disabled people live in a house with thier teenage daughter. House has been rented 4 years, all rent paid on time. No lease was ever written, though it was stated verbally, the house wouldnt be needed unless her son decided to move into it when he turned 18 (still at least 2 years away). Due to her financial problems is losing house she is residing, and so she gave a verbal notice to the family of the house she is renting they have 30 days to vacate. Is this legal for her to evict this way? Will a court grant them an extension due to they are disabled and have a minor child?

Re: rental property and evictions

With no lease, you can be asked to move at the end of the period for which you have paid rent. The Court may be in sympathy with you, but you will have to move.
