Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

My father died many years ago, He did not have a will. My mother continued to live in the house until her death, She did not have a will either. There are ten siblings. What at this point do we need to do? Is there any laws that govern this type of situation? Where can I find more information about this?

It is not possible to give you a clear legal answer to your inquiry without a more detailed evaluation of the facts of your case.

You can read some basic probate information on my web page, at:

http://www.mcadamreport.org/Things2Do.html

You should consult with an attorney as soon as possible, and explain all the facts to him. You are best advised to seek the services of a competent Kentucky attorney. You can telephone your local bar association for a referral, or can find a good lawyer on-line at the Kentucky Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service:

Good luck!
