Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

disputing petition of divorce

I can not afford an attorney and I need to dispute my petition for divorce and file it with the clerk of courts office. I'm not sure what to right or in what format to do so. I have thirty days to reply. They have also given me a court date. Please assist me with how to dispute the petition and the information in it.

Re: disputing petition of divorce

Dear Friend,

I will help you if you will FAX me a copy of the petition. For some reason the owners of this web-site won't let us list our phone numbers, so you will have to call or e-mail me for my FAX number. Don't delay and let a default judgment go against you! Time is of the essence! When I get a copy of the petition and your phone number, I will call to discuss this matter with you. No charge for what I do to help you, unless at some time you decide to "hire" me as your attorney. This reply should not be construed as an attempt to solicit your legal business, but just an offer to be of help on a PRO BONO basis. Good luck!

Sincerely,

Hardy Parkerson, Atty.
