Legal Question in Consumer Law in Louisiana

I bought a horse from someone and wrote out a personal check. The check was cashed and spent. I decided a few days later that I didn't want the horse anymore. Do I have the rights to a refund from the person I bought it from?

Not just because you changed your mind, no. Unless the horse is "defective" (sickly, not usable for its intended use, etc., and that was unknown at the time of sale), or there was some fraud involved, the sale is done and it is your horse now.
