Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
Is it illegal if you have a substance in a time capsule, but the capsule was sealed before the substance became illegal?

My first question is, "how do they know the substance was in the time capsule?" I assume it is the marijuana substitute that became illegal. However, it depends on why the capsule was unsealed. If the law did unsealed it, they cannot charge the folks who put the stuff in there. However, if the folks who sealed it unsealed it, then they can be charged. Lastly, if AFTER everyone knew it was going to be illegal the capsule was sealed, then that is iffy....but I say no crime. Just my opinion. But you are not telling the whole story so that would be nice to know.
