Re: Lawyer

I studied hard in college & decided to apply to law school, where I studied even harder. After that I studied for the Louisiana Bar Exam, which I passed on the first try in 1982.

My first lawyering job was as a Law Clerk to the Judges in the 14th Judicial District (Calcasieu Parish). I then spent 9 years in the District Attorney's office for that parish. When I left there I opened my own private practice. For the last 1 1/2 years I have worked in the Public Defender's office.
