i am an only child my father died there is a bank account and a vehicle i don't have the money for a lawyer

You have a bank account and a vehicle, so use those to pay for an attorney. There is a way to simply have affidavits signed to transfer ownership to you when the only property is moveable. Make sure he owned no land, because then you cannot do the affidavit thing. The big problem will be the bank and DPS. They will probably want to see a succession and judgment of possession. I suggest opening a small succession.
