Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

visitation decisions

Mychild goes to his dad's on court determined days of the year per holiday's, summer's etc. My question is when can my child have a say so in how long he stay's at his dad's? He doesn't mind going to his dad's who lives 10 minutes from me, it''s just that after about 2 weeks he's ready to come home. We have joint custody and i am the court ordered domicilicary parent. My son turns 13 in August and just would like to have a say so in when he comes home from visitations. Thank you for any advice

Re: visitation decisions

At this point hopefully both parents can reach an agreement to modify the visitation schedule to fit a teenager's schedule better. Using a mediator to assist you in the give & take might be helpful.
