Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana
Car Accident
I was hit in the back while at a stop light and pushed into the car infront who was pushed into the car infront of her. The lady who hit me was the only person giving a ticket. My insurence was lapsed but paid the day after the wreck. How do I seek retribution for loss of wages, medical expenses, property damage and pain and suffering? Is the lady responseable for the accident liable? Is her insurance liable?

If you were uninsured at the time of the accident, you have to eat the first $10,000 or damages. I personally believe it is unfair, but there you go.
