Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana

Hello,i have a question about my security deposit. i just moved out of my rented apt. my deposit was $650 .. the landlord only returned $220 of it to me. the lease states that certain deductions will be made for cleaning. i don't see where it says the full deposit will be refunded upon inspection of apt. they state that all the deductions are "standard" deductions. does this mean they can take that money out of my security deposit no matter what?.i took pictures of everything before i left. the apt. was cleaned very well. can i take them to court over this?

Yes. The landlord can't just take out "cleaning" from the deposit if the apartment did not need cleaning. If you have photos that show the apartment was clean, you can sue for return of your deposit. Judges are always very interested in photos in cases like these.
