Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Louisiana

My contractor wont finish in the time frame that he agreed upon. Is their anything I can do? It was suppose to be a 6 day project and it has been going on for 3 months.

You can fire him, hire someone else to finish the job, and sue him for any damages you have suffered.
