Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

2 years ago I traded my 2003 ford focus into a reputable dealership for a newer car. two year later I recieve a bill from a towing company 5 hours away for the focus and it still has my license plate on it, it is still in my name. I am very upset about this. I will have to drive to take care of this and I have a bill for over 200 dollars at the towing company.

I have two questions = is there anythingi can do to the dealership for their carelessness and what will happen if I just go and get the car.

You traded the car in to the dealership so you do not owe the towing company. The dealership is responsible. Contact the new dealership association of Louisiana and ask for their guidance. They are usually really good about keeping the dealers straight.
