Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

Bul.ging disc/carpal tunnel

slipped on oil and water at a local convenience store. Lighting was very dim. Manager called and apologized after the accident. My question is based on previous cases that the owner is clearly liable. How much would a case be worth in Louisiana with the diagnose of bulging disc(no previous injury) and carpal tunnel symptons aggravated after the fall

Re: Bul.ging disc/carpal tunnel

In the first place, "slip and fall" accidents are aggressively defended by insurance companies--no matter what the store manager says to the injured party after the accident happens. I suspect that if you are presently speaking with the insurance adjuster--which is a mistake--you will find out that he/she is unwilling to pay "much" for your hurt neck. The value of a bulging disc with carpal tunnel--under the circumstance you describe--varies so greatly that it is impossible to evaluate without knowing a whole lot more. The best advise I can offer is to consult with an experienced personal injury lawyer. Based on what you have written, this is not the type of case you should attempt to handle yourself--its just not--
