Fire Liability

Was burning trash Last weekend, looked like it was out with no smoke went inside fire reignited catching grass on fire I live in the country. burnt 2 vehicles that had been sitting on the property for years now neighbor who had vehicles One was overgrown by weeds had been there for at least 7 years and the other was used ryder truck that had been parked there for over 6 years is trying to collect all she can. Unfortunately I had no home owners insurance. . If there not all the chemicals and high weeds on her property would not have caused any damage but because she had several containers of flamable liquids and several other items high weeds on the balance of property truck caught fire which caused rest to catch fire What is my liability in this situation

In my opinion you could be held liable for the damage caused by the fire. The issue is the extent of the damage caused. Obviously, if the cars that were destroyed were in disrepair, the fair market value would not be that high. The fact that the property had characteristics that made it more prone to a brush fire does not relieve you from liability, although it may reduce a portion of your fault.
