Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maine
Father died and left Will. His spouse is named the PR. Father owned business, SP, not LLC or Inc. PR failed to file Inventory, then did when requested. Inventory is minus $$$$ of property. As a HD in this Estate, what can I do to make the PR show what & where the missing $$$ items went? Vehicles, equipment etc... Maine

I am not sure from your post if all personal property was identified but dollar values were not assigned to them, or if you know of specific personal property that is not identified at all. Any concern you have as an heir gives you grounds to file a written objection with the Probate Court. I am not sure that not assigning dollar values matters unless the Will makes specific dollar devises and property must be liquidated and the PR claims the property is insufficient to satisfy the bequest. If there is property not identified that should be, that is more serious, it calls the PR's fiduciary duty into question, but also raises proof questions if the property was gifted verbally during life.
