You should consider consulting a Maryland attorney who specializes in workers' compensation law to discuss the specifics of your case. There are not enough facts in your question to provide a definitive answer. For instance, are you an employee or an independent contractor? were you walking into work or leaving work? did the fall happen during work hours? did it happen while you were performing some duty for the employer (such as cleaning the parking lot)? although there was no pothole or debree in the lot, was there raise or broken concrete? how did you fall -- what was the cause?

Best of luck.*******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
