Legal Question in Disability Law in Maryland

If you find jewelry in a public bathroom and keep it, is it considered theft? If the owner of the jewelry finds out you found it and asks for it back, are you obligated to return the item?

Yes, you are obligated to return it to them! If you don't, you may be charged with theft. It's not always "finder's keepers." Check the following video clip out. It takes place in Kansas, but it's the same principle.
