Is it legal for one person to have different attorney for different purposes?

or will any attorny make you sign a clause to use their agency only, if not the client will get in trouble?

You can have as many attorneys as you want and can afford, for as many purposes as you want. You don't necessarily want a divorce lawyer handling your patent application or your murder charge. My only caveat would be that it may make sense for them to coordinate efforts - for example, your bankruptcy lawyer needs to know what's going on with your divorce, and vice versa.
