The post isn't clear -- a licensed agent for what? Real estate?

Generally businesses sell products for a profit. Whether or not it is wise to do this through an existing entity or whether it makes more sense to create a new separate entity is best discussed in consultation with an attorney. In any event, to sell a product, you will need to obtain a sales tax #, collect & remit sales tax on same and also obtain any applicable trader's license(s).

You are strongly encouraged to have a legal review before branching out into a new line of work. My firm offers a no-cost initial phone consult of 10 min for business related calls (licensed in MD only) or you can contact another attorney of your choosing. Please note that this post does not offer specific legal advice and does not create any attorney-client relationship.
