Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

boat engine repair/failure

Former marina owner rebuilt my boat engine ($35,000). It has failed after 55 hrs. New marina owners say they did not buy any ''liabilities.''(Maryland). Is this

possible? What are my options?
