Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

district court filing to collect bad debt frome me

there are two filings and dates for district court by two creditors--$400 and $1500. i own a home and two very old cars. The best i could do would be to come up with a monthly payment of $100 in total.

what can they do to me. can they garnish wages in maryland.

Approach your creditors or their lawyers and tell them what you can pay, and they may be willing to work out a payment plan. They can not simply sue you where it is convenient for them. Make sure they sued you in the county where you reside or work, or where the contracts between you and them were created.
