child abuse/second degree assualt
how can i be charged with child abuse,i used a belt what is the difference between my hand an a belt,both my hand and belt can do the same thing

It really depends on the total circumstances. Generally, the rule of thumb is if it causes an "injury" or lets say it leaves a visible mark ... they may prosecute, etc. There are defenses and as I said, the devil is in the details (the specific facts).
