Criminal Law Question involving ''Stet Doc'' and Expungement

Hi. I have a question concerning a ''stet doc'' judgement...? First, can you explain to me what exactly it is and how does it work? I took a plea I guess thats what you would call it, of a ''stet doc'' about 3yrs ago and I was originally told that it would ''disappear'' after a year if I did not get into any legal trouble within that year. I did not but the case shows as active on my criminal record... How do I close this case and expunge my criminal record?

It does not disappear after one year. You have to wait 3 years to file expungement. If it has been 3 years since the court date, go to the clerk of court and file the expungement. Bring $30.
