Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

i am on a pbj for possetion of weed it is 6 month supervise but im trying to join the military and i need to get it modified to un supervised or get it droped i have no other things on my record i spoke to a lawyer he told me i could write a letter to the judge but i dont know wat to say plz help me im a 19 year old who just wants to help my country in a time of war an need i live in baltimore md my number is 443-840-0242 any help will be appreciated

You should probably get a lawyer to file the motion for you, but if you can't afford one, you will want to file a Motion to Modify Sentence and simply tell the judge that you are trying to join the military. Include the specific branch, name of recruiter, and a copy of any documentation you have. If you dont have a documentation, get the recruiter to write something up. You can get blank motion forms at the Clerk's office.

If it has been more than 90 days since the entry of pbj, then the court may deny the motion for modification. You may be able to petition for coram nobis.
