Statute Of Limitations For Violation Of Probation

Is there a statute of Limitations for Violation of Probation in Montgomery County Maryland? If so could you please tell me what they are? You see my fiance' is in jail for 6 months for a violation that occured in December of 1998. The violation charge is failure to report, his court date was November 6, 2001. He was incarcerated for part of the time that he has been charged with the failure to report. Please I need help with this.

Re: Statute Of Limitations For Violation Of Probation

There are a lot of questions: Is he still awaiting trial on the VoP charges? When does his probation period expire.? Why has he served so much time, was he found guilty of the violation? There really isn't an SOL on violations of probation if they occurred during his probationary period. call if you'd like more details. Joe Trevino, 1-800-924-6217
