Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Child Support

My fiance lives with me in Pennsylvania. His three children live with their mother in Maryland. Which state guidelines should be used to determine child support, the state where the father lives, or the state where the children live?

Re: Child Support

It depends where the action is brought. If brought in Maryland, Maryland law applies. If brought in Pa, Pa law applies.
