Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Intrusting Guardianship

About one year ago guardianship was given to the grandparents because my job required alot of traveling. At the time I was awarded sole physical custody of both

children. At this time I've made the decision to obtain a normal job as they say and continue raising my children. The problem being is this. The grandparents have decided they do not want to give back the children. I was told the guardianship I allowed them supersedes my physical custody, not to mention the fact that I am the father. How do I fix this? By the way, the mother is no help period, so that's not an option.

Re: Intrusting Guardianship

You probably need to file a petition with the court to regain custody. You also need to consult an attorney to discuss your options.
