Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

child support/vistion

I have a 4 year old son that lives in maryland with mother .That I'v only seen twice .The mother will not give me her address so Ican file for vistion.Iasked dhr for address and they don't give information out.I also pay 582/m in child support and 460/m health insurance.This happen when me and my wife were on a break we have worked things out. we also have two childern 11/7 together .that I support 100% .why wasnt my two older children accounted for when dhr did my child support.after child support I'm left with 1,800.00/m to support my family.I,m current with all child support payments.Is there any why I can get this lower,and how do I find information on mother to file for vistion.Is there any legal help for low income fathers.I live in w.v.

There are numerous ways to locate the mother's address. Additionally, if there is a pending action you can always subpeona the information from DHS and/or other places where you think the informatin may be. There are changes that have been made recently that would allow for greater credit for the health insurance you are paying and the children you support 100% should be considered in the calculation as well. Some attorneys will work with you on the fee by either allowing a payment plan, a flat fee or some arrangement that suits both you and the attorney. Additionally, Legal Aid and the Law Foundation of Maryland provide legal services for free and/or reduced rates to those that qualify.
