Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

A recent newspaper article about issues with a homeless center/soup kitchen/religious services included my name and a clear descriptive of where my house is located (not the street address but ""lives directly behind the building on {name of street}". I'm afraid that this may jepardize the safety of my family. What can I do? I'm really not in a position to pay for legal advice but hope you can help.

I don't know why you feel this jeopardizes your safety, but in any event there's not much you can do. Apparently you were quoted in the article and didn't ask to have your name withheld, or to have the location of your home in relation to the homeless center obscured. So the article was printed on that basis. If you're worried about a negative reaction to your comments in the article, and someone in the neighborhood threatens your property or your family, of course you'd contact the police.
