Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Maryland

Keeping Fees in Escrow?

I own a condo and have a beef with the Condo Board. I want to withhold my monthly condo fees until they respond to my complaint. Do I need to set up an ''escrow'' account of some sort and pay my monthly fees to that? If so, how do I go about establishing an escrow account and what are the procedures involved in paying my fees to such an account, etc.? Thank you!

Re: Keeping Fees in Escrow?

One way is to have the attorney you choose to represent you to deposit your condominium fees into his client trust account. Upon conclusion of the dispute, he is required to return the funds to you.
