Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Maryland

my rent is $1000 a month and I have a verbal agreement w/ my landlord that it is ok to pay $300/month which I have been doing but have gotten 2 months behind. I received a court date for eviction. Can she accept my money orders and cash them and still evict me?

Look at your lease. If it's with a management company, I probably has a section that requires written modification of the lease. Moreover, look for a section in the lease on acceptance of partial payments.
