Loss Wages

If you are out of work due to an injury, and the doctors is not allowing you to work due to the injury and needing surgery, should you be receiving loss wages at this time?

Your inquiry didn't clarify whether you were injured on the job or just can't work because you are injured from a non-work related incident. If you were injured while working, and the injury incurred due to some unusual or abnormal event, you have a valid workers' compensation claim. You would be entitled to disability benefits equal to 2/3 or your gross pay, as long as you're unable to work.
