Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

This estate is about to be settled. The house is sold, there is a will stating remaining will be divided 3 ways. The 3 children are all executors. My questions is whether the checkbook is part of the estate, should it be divided equally as well once bill obligations have been paid? Thank you.

If you're talking about the balance in the checking or savings account, if the decedent is the only one on the account, it becomes part of the estate.
