My father left his will with his estate attorney. Are we obligated to use that attorney to administer the will and probate proceedings or is it within our rights to ask for the original will and take it to another attorney that we feel more comfortable in hiring?

Nothing under MD law restricts the law firm the executor the hires to assist him/her with the probate process
