Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

Hello,

As the only beneficiary of an inheritance, I was wondering if it was possible to remove a third party trust-guardian from a will. I am 20 years old and the surviving beneficiary of my late parents. I have not yet seen a written copy of the will, nor do I know exactly what type of trust was established. What I do know from my legal guardians (also my trust-guardians) is that apparently I will not be able to become solely responsible for the funds until I reach a certain age, which is above 21. My essential question is whether I would be able to receive funds from the trust directly, without approval from my guardians who are threatening to potentially stop funding my college education. Would I be able to remove them as trust-guardians, and as legal guardians (parental emancipation)? My parents deaths were 6 years ago.

Thanks

You have an interest in the trust and estate. In order to obtain the information you seek certain procedures and requests need to be filed with the Court. I am available for a free initial telephone consultation.
