Siblings and Wills

My father wants to leave 4 of his 5 children his bank acct money. Does he have to leave his 1 child anything if he does not want too?

He can leave nothing for a child if he should choose to set forth such a provision in his last will and testament. This is not the same for a spouse. If he dies without a last will and testament and has not made arrangements for payment of the account on the event of his death then each of the five children will have an interest in the bank account.
