It had snowed and noone had plowed the parking lot and where you come into work we have a sharp turn to make. When I tried to round the corner my car slid and hit the stone wall the devides the coming in and going out lane. It is costing me repairs of 1,898 and some change. Is my job responisble for the repairs since they did not plaw the parking lot but expected us in here for work?

Re: Claim on Car Accident( At job)

You can make a claim with your employer, but don't be surprised if they reject it. Friday was a bad weather day and, depending on where you are, snow continued to fall during the day. The law requires a property owner to use reasonable care to maintain his property. In "snow" cases, that usually requires clearing the snow after it stops falling. Did other employees have similar accidents making this turn? If so, maybe you can make a credible claim. If you were the only one, the company is going to attribute the accident to your failure to drive carefully given the conditions. If you have collision coverage, it will probably be necessary to use it if you don't want to foot the entire bill.
