restraining orders

If someone set a restraining order on me would that follow with a court hearing?

Re: restraining orders

A temporary restraining order can be issued without your presence but you must be served with that restraining order and a hearing must be scheduled within ten days. At that hearing you will have an opportunity to be heard.
