Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

Mortgage mistakenly not reaffirmed

I just had my chapter 7 bankruptcy discharged; but my mortgage company said they didn\'t get any reaffirmation paperwork. How do I get my bankruptcy reopened so I can do this?

Re: Mortgage mistakenly not reaffirmed

If your bankruptcy has been recently discharged, it may not be too late to file a reaffirmation agreement if the case remains open (getting your discharge does not necessarily mean the case has bee closed). If the case has been closed, you (or your attorney) will have to file a motion to reopen the case for the purposes of filing a reaffirmation agreement.
