Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts

Earned Time Off

The company I work for has a policy in place where they combine vacation, personal and sick time as time off.

''Full time employees earn time off with pay to be used for vacation, personal days or illness. Earned Time Off (ETO) is earned as follows:''

I am paid salary and in my field, I've been called into work all hours of the night and weekends. When I asked for some timne off near the holidays I was told I had no time left. The question I have is can they add up sick time as time off?
