Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantee

We bought a central air conditioner 4 years ago and each year since we have had problems. On the contract I signed it said ''Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.'' After 4 years of use, can I demand my money back?

Re: Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantee

Without seeing the "entire" contract (wording)there is really no advice to lend. In addition, you have had the use of the product for four years. Your best bet is to throughly read your contract and/or call them to ask about their policies on returns, etc. When you call just tell them you are considering purchasing and would like to know what their guarantees and warranties are. Then go from there. If they are promising full guarantee/return for a lifetime go from there. Please update us with additional information so we can help you further.
