HELP for my kids

Im the father of 2 teenagers, 15 and 13 years, [born in usa. ] we never be married [living apart for last 11 years] and never be in a court ,because we both take care of the kids,[verbal agreement], sometime living out of the country[colombia] and sometimes in usa. Now her mother told me that, '' I must take care and live with my 2 kids because the support $$$ was not enough, according to the law. if not, I must pay the right amount since they were born and maybe ended in jail'' she enjoy them when kids and now. she dont want to take care for anything? I need advise please!!!

She is not telling you the whole truth. Oral agreements are useless;

Get a lawyer.

First, I assume there is no divorce pending between you and your wife.

Until she goes to court to seek support, she cannot force you to pay anything. She cannot put you in jail and the court is not going to put you in jail unless you disobey a court order, but they can require a support of your children going forward.

More information is needed to properly to advise you. I suggest you sit down with an attorney learn what your real options are. Then talk to your wife and your children and decide what the best thing is to do.
