Re: marrige

This is an immigration question, and should be posted as such. Her marriage will not automatically change anything about his legal status. He will have to contact an immigration attorney to find out how to best handle his immigration status.

Re: marrige

You really need to contact an Immigration attorney not a family law attorney. Once she is a citizen she can petition to marry him and he may or may not get citzenship or entry in to the USA.

If you need to be referred to an immigration attorney, please feel free to call me.

Re: marrige

Once she becomes a citizen and marries her fiancee, she would be alble to petition with him with the Immigration Service (USCIS) so long as he came to the USA legally. If he entered the USA illegally, then there is another more complex procedure, which will involve him leaving the USA in order to obtain any immigration benefits. If you need more information regarding this matter, please contact us.
