moving 45 minutes away from there dad

I need to move out of my parents house with my 2 small young children, there fathers house has been deemed unsafe by there dr. he refuses to let me move to my boyfriends house 45 minutes away because he doesnt like them, i need to move out in three days have no where eles to go and cant afford a place section 8 and housing is not an option please help! There is no custody order in place but he pays me child support, by court order, which makes me the custodial parent because he walked out on me and my oldest when i was four months pregnant. Two years ago he DID give his consent, can he take it back now?

So long as the proposed home is safe and appropriate for your children, their father does not have the right to forbid you to move there. Distance is not the issue. However, you are certainly going to face a court action from the father. You should take the initiative and file a court action to get his control games ended.

If the boyfriend is for ANY sensible reason an inappropriate companion for your children, you should NOT do this.
